We had the pleasure of photographing a great fall wedding at The Oaks a few weeks ago. Adrienne and Scott had a palette full of warm fall colors. The contrast was beautiful against the green, green trees and pastures. The bridesmaids wore chocolate brown and Adrienne's cake was four alternating designs in classic ivory. We couldn't have asked for better lighting and a sweeter couple for an early October Saturday.
In fact, The Oaks is becoming quite a home away from home of Kim Box Photography. We've photographed weddings there from February through Christmas and haven't been disappointed in the abundance of gorgeous settings yet. In the winter the strong oaks still stand tall over the avenue and provide an awesome backdrop for images of the bride and groom. Spring brought fields of purple and yellow wildflowers were we captured little girls twirling. The summer has the shade of the big oaks and stunning afternoon light. As we move into fall the light is getting even better and the grounds still look lush and full. Can you tell we like it here?
On top of it all the staff here makes every encounter a delight. This property has gotten southern hospitality down pat. We feel lucky to work with them so often and always look forward to returning.
